Why might you be interested?

With superb state of the art educational facilities located in the heart of Oldham and within easy reach of major transport routes across Greater Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool. Oldham is an aspiring community and a focused educational establishment that is now looking to appoint an innovative and inspirational Deputy Principal to help take our school into its next exciting phase.

Offering genuine career development opportunities that stretch way beyond the confines of a traditional school structure (Oasis is both international and also runs community hubs, food banks and even farms,) you would be joining a family that puts the welfare, wellbeing and recognition of our employees at the very centre of what we stand for and believe in.

We know for senior leaders, helping to lead an academy is a tough job requiring resilience and flexibility – which is why we wrap around an unrivalled support network of peers and innovative educators to lean on and develop alongside; all aligned with the Oasis vision to deliver exceptional education within the heart of our communities, whilst providing the autonomy to put your stamp on the school.

About the role:

We are seeking a talented leader who can inspire and motivate students and staff. You will work to secure the highest standards across our academy. In addition, you will be a member of the Academy Leadership Team, which sets the strategic direction for the whole academy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and inspirational leader, with strong experience in secondary education.

You will present as a resilient, creative and an effective change agent that brings everyone together in a shared vision that has student success and achievement at its very heart.

Next Steps:

Seeing is experiencing and believing, so we would be delighted to support you with a tour around our Academy before application.  We want you to see the amazing work we are already doing and for you to see where your expertise and experience can take us even further. Please contact Rachel Smith via email (see under application instructions)  to arrange a convenient date and time to visit and/or to arrange a confidential conversation with Tariq Mahmood (Principal) to learn more about the opportunity.

We are committed to the safeguarding of our students through our recruitment and school practices; all jobs are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
